Who are we ?
We are avid French gamers and collectors, all contributing more or less to the different aspects of Golgo Island and its general design. Now, if we are to try and be more precise…
- Boudeele, Jérôme has been playtesting the Golgo Island specifics since the beginning; he also provides terrain and inspiration.
- Matthieu "PKP" is the webmaster and designer of this site and an active contributor to Golgo Island.
- Sébastien "Eul" explores remote areas in miniature designing, among other contributions.
- Sébastien "Sebvoinot" is a regular contributor and the Great Organiser of all things concrete (like the Iron Dream Tournament, and Zombie Qui Pue Con – aka l’Auberge Ludique.)
- Boudeele, Sylvain aka NBFGH is the guy sculpting most of the Golgo Island figures and writing up stuff gaming material and stuff for this website.
- Xavier "Hal" contributes to most aspects of Golgo Island – designing stuff for the website, sculpting, writing.
Thanks
The people without whom Golgo Island wouldn’t exist
- Tony Barr at East Riding Miniatures. Tony is the artist handling the production (and the sales) of the Golgo Island figures. He made this project possible, and we are very happy and proud to work with him on Golgo Island.
- Aaron Overton, the god of wargaming behind the WarEngine, who not only designed that fantastic set of rules, but made it open-source in 2006 and allowed us to use it -our very favourite system- for our game !
- Bill Armintrout of TMP for his kind and precious help and support over the years.
- Simon Harby, who wrote the fantastic introductory background for Golgo Island
The sponsors of the Iron Dream Tournament
- Jackson, Simon and Lisa at Pig Iron Productions. Their miniature line shows true passion for this hobby, and they’re real cool gaming products.
- Moffit, David, who runs the Shockforce Warehouse. Whoever has ordered figures from him can tell you what a superstar he is.
- Ochman, Josef, the bloody nice, helpful, and talented sculptor behind Obelisk Miniatures.
- Olley, Bob and Jackie at Olleys Armies. Because they are Bob and Jackie Olley, and Bob and Jackie Olley rule.
- White, Sally and Kevin. One way or another, Hasslefree miniatures have helped us in our projects. They were the first to sponsor the Iron Dream Tournament, and now some of the Golgo Island sculpts use various parts they make available for commercial use.
